Tesla Model S: Live Pictures Revealed

Tesla unveiled its Model S saloon yesterday. The car is intended to propel the niche producer of the battery-powered Roadster into the broader mass market. The Roadster is built by Lotus at its UK plant and is based on the carmaker’s Elise model. The saloon will enter the market alongside several other electric or hybrid petrol-electric models at a time when enthusiasm for early-model hybrids is waning as consumers balk at their higher costs.
